Seventeen
2014
A site specific adaption of the installation Seventeen at the exhibition of the nominanted artworks for Prix Cube at the Espace Saint-Sauveur in Issy-les-Moulineaux/Paris (France).
The installation consists out of seventeen white cushions made from Tyvek hanging above the visitors heads in the Espace Saint-Sauveur, a former 19th century chapel just outside of Paris. Each cushion is selectively inflated and deflated in controlled rhythms by small fans. Combined with the selective illumination of the cushions this leads to wavelike movements along the space.
